Red – topic and concluding sentence
Blue- reasons
Green – explanation/supporting details


Turtles have a unique appearance.  First of all, turtles use their shell as their home.  Their shell protects them from tough weather.  It also helps them be safe from predators.  Furthermore, turtles have a sharp mouth.  This feature helps them to eat items that need to be broken down.  Their mouth also helps them to attack any threats to their survival.  Turtles have a variety of physical characteristics that help them survive.

Text Talk
